How it fits your 11+ prep

Four steps, repeated every week from the first lesson to the test. You do the teaching; Puzzitron does the between.

    Add a pupil in a minute

    A first name or nickname, a year group and a four-digit PIN. You tick that the parent has agreed; we record that you did. No parent email, no invite to chase.

    Point them at the skills you are teaching

    Choose up to 6 skills. They are pinned to the top of the pupil's practice screen as TUTOR PICK, come up more often in the free-play mode, and are named on their home screen so the homework is never in doubt.

    They practise between lessons

    Short runs of ten questions, a ladder that climbs as they get things right, and timed mock papers when they are ready. It wears a retro-arcade look, so they open it without being told twice.

    Open the report before the next lesson

    Readiness by paper, the weakest skills named, attempts and pass rates, and the trend over time. It is the same report a parent sees, so you are both reading from one page.

What you get

The bank, the ladder and the report were built for the 11+ first, then checked against the papers by tutors who sit with children every week.

37 skill types across the four papers
Verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, maths and English, matched to the 4 papers a GL-style 11+ sets. Five-option questions where the paper prints five, two-mark questions where the paper asks for two answers.
A ten-rung ladder per skill
Rung 1 is the gentlest step; rung 8 is the standard a real paper sets; rungs 9 and 10 are deliberately harder than the exam, so exam day feels like a step down. Each pupil climbs at their own pace.
Reports you can teach from
Per pupil, per paper, per skill. Which skills are secure, which are not, how many questions they have done this week, and whether the line is moving. Clearly labelled as practice, never as a prediction.
Hand over to the parent when you are done
One link makes the parent's own sign-in the owner of the account. Nothing is copied or reset, the pupil keeps their sign-in name and history, and you stay linked so you can still set focus skills until the parent removes you.
Your pupils, kept apart from your family
Pupils live on your tutor page, never on a family dashboard, and they do not count against a family's limit. Remove a pupil in a click; they are restorable for 30 days.
The least data that works
A name or nickname, a year group, a hashed PIN and practice history. UK and EU hosted, no advertising, no third-party trackers where the child plays, aligned with the ICO Children's Code. Pupils nobody has played as for a year are archived and then removed.

Help shape the bank

Every question sits on a rung, and every rung can be judged by someone who knows what a Year 5 finds hard. We are inviting a small number of working tutors to review the bank with us: read a rung, fix a word, move a question up or down, add one where a rung is thin. Changes go live at once, every one is recorded, and anything can be undone. If that appeals, say so in the form below.

Puzzitron is not affiliated with GL Assessment, CEM or any exam board. Questions are 11+ and CAT4 style, written and checked by us and by the tutors who review them.

Questions tutors ask

Does the parent need their own Puzzitron account?
No. You add the pupil yourself, the way a school does on a classroom platform, and tick that the parent has agreed. If the family later wants the account for themselves, you send them a handover link, their own sign-in becomes the owner, and you stay linked until they remove you.
How do I get the tutor tools?
Sign up free with your email, then ask for tutor access using the form on this page. We switch it on for your account, usually the same day, and you will see a Tutor tools button on your dashboard.
How many pupils can I add?
There is no limit for tutors during the beta.
Can I see exactly what a pupil got wrong?
You see readiness by paper, the weakest skills named, attempts and pass rates per skill, and the trend over time. It is built to tell you what to teach next rather than to replay every answer.
Is this the real 11+?
No. Puzzitron is a private practice tool using the same style of reasoning, maths and English questions that appear in GL-style 11+ papers and in CAT4. It is not affiliated with GL Assessment or any exam board, and performance on Puzzitron is not a predictor of a real result.
What does it cost?
Nothing for tutors during the beta. We will talk to tutors before anything about that changes.
Can I help improve the questions?
Yes, and we would like you to. A small number of working tutors review the bank with us, type by type and rung by rung, fixing wording, moving questions up or down the ladder and adding questions where a rung is thin. Their changes go live at once. Say so in the form if that appeals.
